1959 Gillette Fat Boy Refurbished Replated Nickel Razor E4. All mechanics work precisely as they should, the TTO knob opens and closes as it is meant to and the adjustments turn and click perfectly! This razor is in Refurbished Re-Plated In Nickel. The new Nickel finish looks Marvelous! The blade gap is even across both sides of the entire razor head. There Is Absolutely No Plate Loss, Brassing or Rust. The numbers on the adjusting wheel aren’t missing any of the black paint, also the black ring under the adjuster is as black as if it was new. The razor has Been completely disassembled, tuned up, re-plated, reassembled and polished.

-Ultrasonic cleaning of all parts.
-Repainting of all accents in factory colors.
-Mechanical inspection/adjustment/repair (as needed).
-Reassembly & mechanical function test.
-Blade alignment verification on all settings.

What we have here for sale is a Gem Junior brand 1912 Head single edge razor. It`s made of solid brass, shines as if brand-new. This is a single edge razor that is 100% mechanically. It`s probably the most popular head design in this class of razors, and comes with a most attractive ornate handle. The razor is Length: 3 1/2″ X Width: 1 3/4″.
The razor has been cleaned and sanitized, polished to the perfection you see in the pictures and is ready for use. Made in U.S.A. Stamped with the GEM 1912 patent date the GEM Junior was the final variant of this long running GEM razor. Manufactured starting in 1933, this popular GEM model continued into the 1940’s.
1930’s era GEM Junior, is made of an all solid brass head and handle construction throughout, this razor is not plated, it’s all solid brass and it is in Great mechanical condition. The blade stop hooks are in excellent condition as well as the comb guard. (Please See Pictures). Spring tension is good. Cap snaps closed tight, blade alignment is even. The beautiful brass was fully cleaned of tarnish, buffed and polished to a mirror like golden shine. This wonderful Restored Razor will show very minimal signs of wear. (See Pictures). Also included is a NOS (new old stock) box of Child’s Single Edge Blades, never been opened.
